You could probably count on the fingers of one hand the people who have NOT heard of DisneyLand (in California) and DisneyWorld (in Florida).

But how many people know that the DisneyWorld area of Central Florida is just so much MORE than Mickey Mouse? That being said, his 'kingdom' certainly does dominate the region...

Walt Disney World itself is made up of four totally diverse theme parks:

The original 'Magic Kingdom', Walt's original dream land
EPCOT - the Experimental Prototype Community of Tomorrow - which was built to showcase Walt's later vision of an 'ideal world'
Animal Kingdom, which as its name indicates, allows you to travel through a world of animals from across the globe
Disney MGM Studios where all the dreams become reality in those amazing and exciting Disney Movies

Wherever you go in any of the four Parks, characters from those films will be around to greet you, eat with you, have their photo's taken with you and perform shows for your entertainment. There will be parades in the day, light shows at night and the famous 'Disney fireworks' to herald the end of each magical day.

But as we say, Central Florida it isn't just ALL about Disney...
